Ho was remanded for sentence.

Melbourne, Oct. 2S. The Judge was very lengthy in his summing up, which was strongly against Worthington. He was especially severe in regard to the representations made to Madame Juvcney in reference to the alleged fortune left by an aunt with a view to inducing her to advance money. 11c scathingly condemned Worthington for allowing counsel to insinuate that Madame Juveney induced him to leave ids wife for certain purposes, to insinuate in effect, “ She bought my embraces with all her property.” His Honor characterised some of accused’s explanations regarding correspondence as unintelligible.
