SIR J. G. WARD’S MEETING

A PROHIBITIONIST BEFORE THE COURT. (Per Press Association.) Auckland, last night. Considerable interest is being taken in the Police Court sequel to Sir J. G. \\ ard s meeting at the Choral Hall on the 2Utb inst. William Richardson, who is charged with unlawfully disturbing the meeting, is a familiar figure on the temperance plat form, and that part of the Court set aside for the public was crowded to day when the case came on. Richardson's defence will be heard on Friday.
