Wellington, last night Mr John Duthie, a candidate fur uue of the City seats, addressed the electors tonight m a epeech which traversed in a hostile spirit many portions of the Government s udmmistratiou. He complained ot the railways being maintained out of loan money, instead ot revenue. The railways were now in a worked out condition. He was opposed to any increase ot taxation on laud values. A vote ot thanks and confidence was passed.
