Minervo Wilson Pax Mongonui Inspnn Craftsman Lady Raven Pinepinetekura Miss Ivy Soultina Paria Materoa Throughout his stay in-England, Mr Seddon was much in evidence at various gatherings when corporate bodies sought to do honor to the colonies which had so powerfully assisted in tiie war. It is scarcely to lie expected that in all his utterances on these occasions he should have kept- himself within the hounds of discretion and good judgment. lie frequently fails in these respects in New Zealand, but ’ we have got into a habit of overlook- , ing his lapses. We need not refer to , the reports that this is only a kind ut ! iarewel'l visit to New Zealand, and 1 that Mr Seddon has made arrangements to transfer his energies else- ' where. We take it that Mr Seddon B has come hack to New Zealand to res' sutne his place in our political life and to continue that influence which has been so great in the past, and which >- must continue great so long as lie t— chooses. We give him a hearty wei■e come to New Zealand, and wish him :r many years of life and happiness I amongst us.—N.Z. Herald.
