JOHNSON’S MURDERER AGAIN SAID TO BE SHAW.
THE MYSTERY DEEPENS.

SYDNEY, October 17. The latest development of the photographs of the murderer of Constable Johnson at St. Kiida, which have been received in Sydney, have been identified by two persons well acquainted with Shaw (suspected to he one of the murderers of Constable Guilfoyie). It is stated by the two persons alluded to that tho photograph is a likeness of Shaw.
It is now stated that the constable Melbourne to view the body, and had not seen Shaw for some years. Tlic body of the murderer is being preserved in a formalin bath.
With tlie view of clearing up the mystery, persons recently acquainted with the supposed murderer of Constable Guilfoyie will probably lie sent to to Melbourne to view the body, and identify it or otherwise.
