JURY’S PROTEST AND JUDGE'S REPLY. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright London, Oct. 14. Judge Curran in delivering his charge at the opening of the Mullingar sessions, expressed regret that boycotting had begun in West Meath. The Grand Jury handed i in a protest against coercion. Jud"e Curran challenged any jurors to say thev were coerced. There was no response,"and Judge Curran thereupon tore the resolution to fragments, exclaiming There's your precious resolution.” He then discharged the jury’.
