Protection of Children.
[By Telegraph—l J ress Association.] Wellington, last night,
His Excellency the Governor presided at the fifth annual meeting of the Society for the Protection of Women and Children. The report submitted stated that 61 cases had been brought before the Committee during the year, the greater number being in connection "with children.
