LAND FOR TROOPERS
(To the Editor of the Times),
Dear Sir, —I havo boen talking with soveral returned troopers about this land that tho Government are talking about giving to troopers. Do you think that tho returned troopers of Poverty could do anything in the wuy of furthering the schctno ? If so I would suggest that a meeting of returned men bo held in town, to discuss the question and meet the Hon. James Carroll. If you thought it worth while a notice could be put in your paper calling a meeting. Ploping tho above meets with your approval.—l am, etc., R. Barwick. IkS.—l will hand tho plate round at the meeting for the expenses of notice and rent of hall, etc., 8.8. Ormond, Oot. 11th, 1902
