Eastern files give details of a volcanic eruption at Torigim.. f -land, Bunin Group, early in the present im ith. Hugo volumes of smoko and sand were emitted from the centro of the island, the shape of which has entirely changed. There wore 160 residents on tho islaud, the fate of whom is unknown.
