NEW ZEALAND TEAM FOR ENGLAND. By telegraph—Press Association— WELLINGTON, last night. At a meeting of the Alanagement Committee of tho New Zealand Rugby Union to-nigbt, correspondence wa3 read with regard to tho proposed visit of a New Zealand team to England. The AgentGeneral wrote that ho was much interested in the project. Ho had interviewed the football authorities in London, who appeared to think tho question of professionalism would prove a serious obstacle. Air Rowland Hill, Secretary of tho English Union, wrote that his Union could not see its way to relax the professional regulations. Tho English Union would do everything to make tho tour of the New Zealanders a success, Tho letters were discussed at great length, and finally it was decided that the affiliated Unions be advised that it is possible under tho existing rules to send a team to Englund, arid that the Unions bo requested to supply tho names of players who would be willing to make one ot the team, and that tho Secretary apply to the English Union for information regarding fixtures and the estimated cost and receipts of maintaining a team of 25 men in England for three months.
