During the last few days- very heavy .westerly weather has been experienced, With lerrilio hailstorms, and coastal shipping has been largely disorganised. NAPU'IK, last night. An unusually heavy gale lias been blowing since Saturday night. DANNIOVIRKE, last night. The weather since Friday night has been wet and stormy. On Saturday evening .snow fell, and yesterday hailstorms were experienced lor the greater portion of ttie day. : FEILDtNG, last night. Alieavy gale has been Mowing since Saturday, with frequent showers. A blizzard on Saturday night caused a great mortality among young lambs, and also ruined the prositect ot an abundant fruit harvest. The gale is slid raging, WELLINGTON, last night. The weather was bcautifidly line early this morning, lint has changed to a cold southerly, with heavy showers of rain and hail. CHRISTCHURCH, last night. Bleak, squally weather was experienced here last night and to-day. Rain, snow, and sleet have fallen. DUNEDIN, last night, It, has been snowing all the morning. The goldfields district#? report the heaviest fall for years. The i ail wa y lines .ire blocked.
WESTPORT, last night, Boisterous weather prevails, with a neavy sea. All shipping movements have lieeu blocked since Saturday. Snow lias fallen at Denniston and Millertou.
