Herr Sverdrup’s Polar expeditiouary vessel Fram has arrived at Stavanger, Svordup states that he explored the unknown icefields to the westward of Ellesmere Land. The discovery of deserted Esquimaux dwellings showed that the northernmost limits of habitable parls had receded during recent times.
