GREAT EXCITEMENT. By Telegraph—Press Assooiation—Copyright Adelaide, Sept. 22. Friday’s shocks woro very severe at Warooka, on York’s Peninsula, though the .damage to property was not extensivo outside Tronbridgo lighthouso, which will involve an outlay of £SOOO.

Careful observers state that the shock lasted from one minute to a minuto and a-half, and was accompanied by loud explosions with choking sulphurous discharges. Scores of women went into hysterics, and many fainted. Ono woman died of heart disease, accelerated by fatigue over tho shocks.

Melbourne, Sept. 22. Tho shocks wore experienced at Broken Hill, Castertou, and Serviceton on Friday night.
