FLOODS IN BENGAL.
SIX THOUSAND RENDERED HOMELESS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Bombay, Sept. 16. The floods in Southern Bengal destroyed 25 villages and two bridges, and did damage estimated at two lakhs of rupees. Six thousand persons were rendered homeless, chiilly along the Brahamin river.
