[BS TELEGRAPH. — PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Mastorton, lost night. On Sunday evening, whilst returning from service at Taueru, tbo Rev. \V. Eoroo, of St. Matthew’s, met with a sorious accidont. Near the Tauoru sawmill tho wheels and axlo of the buggy became dotachod from the body. Tho horse bcltod, carrying Mr Enree, sleigh fashion, somo distanco at a great rate, going ovor a stoep gully. Fortunately ho pulled up tho horse without further injury than a sovoro shaking. Thero was a hoavy thunderstorm and downpour to-day ovor tho district. There was a sharp fall of hail at Eketahuna. Tho sovero weather latoly has caused much mortality to young lambs. A footballor named Mooro, of St. Patrick’s College, broke his shoulder bone in Saturday's match against Mastorton.
