In roforenco to ill-natured accusations that tho Australian cricketers wasted time on tho final day of tho match against tho South of England at Hastings, Darling and Trumble, interviewed by a representative of tho Sportsman, emphatically deny tho accusation. Contradicting rumors as to their retirement, Darling and Trumble declared that thoy do not intend revisiting England, but will not abandon first-class cricket in Australia. llowoll, Gregory, and Jones also doclaro thoy will continue to play in Australia.
