WAIPIRO HOT SPRINGS.

(To the Editor of the Times.) Sir, —I was very pleased indeed, to see in your paper of Thursday morning, many comments of interest with regard to the Waipiro Hot Springs. I have stayed at>. the Springs frequently, and have alwayh* found Mr and Mrs Gordon “ very attentive,” doing all in their power to make everyone happy. Your contemporary has indeed made a very unjust statement re the management of the Springs. The worthy pioneer, Mr Gordon, deserves great praise for the many ad. vantages that the general public have de. rived ; therefore, it is but fair that he should have the prior right to anything that the State Department wish to dispose of.—l am, etc., Visitor, Gisborne, Sept. 11th.
