By Telegraph—Fross Association. Christchurch, last night. The Addington sales took placo to-day. Fat cattle : 156 wero yardod, mostly light weight steora and heifers, with a low prime bullocks. Owing to competition for export to Sydney prime bullocks advanced in prico to fully 35s por 1001 b. Other sorts sold regularly. Good hoof 29s to 32s 6d, and other sorts 24s to 28a. Prime bullocks JEI2 to £ls 5s ; good stoors, JGB 10s to i’ll ; others, £6 15s to XB. Heifers, X 5 10s to X 8 10a, up to £9 7s 6d for extra good. Cows, X 7 10a to X 8 10s ; up to JC9 10s, £ll, Xll 10s, and XU 15s for extia. Store cattle : There was a mixed entry and a weaker sale. Calves brought 15s, yearlings 22s 6d, 15 to 18 months X2 6d to X 3 10s, 2-ycar heifers X 4 2s 6d, 2$ and 3-year steers £5 15s to X 6 8s 6d, 3-year heifers XI 7s 6d. Dry cows X2 5s to X 4, best dairy cows X 7 to X 9 ss, others X 4 to X 6 10s.

Fat sheep : 3500 wero yarded. Thore were no buyers for export to Sydney, and freezers were holding off; consequently all classes wore oasior. A few extra prime wethers brought 22s Od to 275, freezors 16s to 20s, lighter 13s to 15s 6d. Prime hoavy ewes 18s to 20s lOd, others lls fld to 17s 6d. Primo Merino wethors 10s 6d to 18s Od, others 12s 9d to 1-ls lOd, ewes 9s 6d. Store sheep : 4750 wero yarded, principally wethers and hoggots. No owes changed hands, and wethors and hoggets wero easier. Wethers realised 12s to 14s 4d, hoggets 7s 6d to 10s 2d. Pigs : 573 were yarded. Fats wero easier, but storeß sold well, about 100 going to Southland. Baconors brought 40s to 02s and 565, or 4d per lb. Porkers 22s to 365, or to 4j|d per lb. Largo stores brought 22s 6d to 80s, smaller 12s to 20s, suckers and weaners 7s 6d to 118 fid.
