Tho Houso mot at 2.30. Discussion nroso on a motion for lcavo to introdueo tho Crown Suits Amendment Bill, which lastod till tho 5.30 adjournment. Tho House rosumod at 7.30. Tho Houso wont into Committee on tho Electoral Bill. An amendment was tnovod in clauso 3, extending tho period of Parliaments to four instead of threo years, discussion on which was interrupted by tho suppor adjournment. On tho Electoral Bill a proposal to extend tho life of Parliament from throo to four yoars was lost on tho voiceß. An amendment to Clauso 5 that a representation commissioner shall bo appointed by tho Houso from amongst membors of tho Houso was under discussion at midnight.
