KNOCKING OUT THE LITTLE FELLOW. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Berlin, Sept. 0. The Germans are delighted at tho prompt punishment of the pirate gunbont Cretea Pierrot. The Berlin Post says tho incident is a lesson to the revolutionists and ephemeral Governments of Central America that they must not dare interfere with international trade. Washington, Sept. 9.
There is little criticism in America over the Cretea Pierrot incidont, except it is stated that Germany would better havo used a birch than a club. Washington officials consider that tho Monroe Doctrine has not been violated since there was no territorial aggression.
