SICK TROOPERS.

A BRIGHTER BULLETIN.

TROOPER PARKER MUCH BETTER. [By Telegraph—Press Association.] Auckland, last night. A bulletin from the hospital re the troopers is of a brighter character. Seven men wore discharged to-day, recovered. Parker, who has been ranging between life and death for so long, is much better. The operation on Manson was most successful. The removal of a rib was essential to the operation. The condition of the other patients is favorable. Vincent’s condition at Motuihi is beginning to cause grave apprehonsion. All the other patients are rapidly recovering. The discharge of four men yesterday was followed by the release of five others to-day, cured.
