FIVE PEOPLE SCALDED. TWO DEAD. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Newcastle, Aug. 29. The overhaul of the steam collier Duckenfield had just been completed when theforewater gauge blew out. Steam rushed into the engine room. Thesecond ■engineer, Robinson, and three men escaped with severe scalds, but two boys, Freund and Lundy, were cut oft and found ■dead, the latter being horribly scalded.
