SENSATION IN THE ASSEMBLY. MINISTRY VOTE WITH THE BOND. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Capetown, August 25. Juta, a Progressive member of tho Capo Cape Assembly, moved that of nine vacant seats eight be filled up. The whole of the Progressives outside of the Cabinet, except one member, supported the motion. The Ministry crossed tho floor, and assisted the Bond in defeating tho motion by 41 to 23. The action caused a sensation.

The Progressives intend to introduce a Bill framed ou the lines of tho laws operating in the Orange Colony and Transvaal for the suppression of sedition and seditious utterances.
