LETTER FROM MR T. W. LEYS.

The Secretary of tho Cook Momorial Fund has received the following interesting letter from Mr T. W. The movement to similarly distinguish the spot whero ho first set foot on tho shores of New Zealand should command public support throughout tho colony. I oncloso a guinea towards the fund.” Mr A. Dewing, manager of Nelson Bros.’ Taruheru Works, has also written, heartily approving of tho movemont and forwarding a guinea. SUBSCRIPTION LIST. Amount previously acknowledged £25 11s 6d. T. W.
