London, June 28. Queen Alexandra was admitted to the room immediately after the operation on the King was completed. The King still lay unconscious from the anaesthetics. When the Queen left the room she said, weeping: “He does look so handsome as he lies there so still and pale.’’ Before His Majesty underwent the operation he said to the Queen : " If anything happens to me, I want George to be crowned in October.”
