(Per Press Association.) Wellington, last night. Tho hearing of tho charge of manslaughter of her daughter, Dorothy Drake, aged 8 years, preferred against Harriet Drake, was concluded at tho Supremo Court this evening, when tho jury returned a verdict of guilty. His Honor Mr Justice Edwards in-

timated that on Thursday ho would hear argument of counsel on a point raised during tho hearing with regard to tho admissibility of certain ovideneo concerning the treatment of decoasod by prisoner prior to the 20th June. Sontonce was deferred.
