PING-PONG.
1 Great interest is being manifested in the Ping-Pong Tournament to bo held this ovening in the Theatre Royal, in aid of beautifying tho Recreation Reserve. Entries to all the events have been very numerous, and to enable all the matches to be played off in one evening, it has been necessary to fix the opening at 7 o’clock, and to limit all matches to 10 minutes, except in tho Town and Country matches, which may bo played out. Nine tables will bo prepared for play, and the Theatre Royal is boing so arranged that spectators may move about freely, and see all tho matches, and at the same time not interfere with the players. Competitors are requested to bo ready to play as soon as called on, as a great number of matches will have to be played during the evening, and these will not be got through if there aro any delays.
