CORONATION DAY.
On Saturday next (Coronation Day) a partial holiday will bo observed at chief and sub-Post Offices : Post Office: A close holiday will bo observed in Money Order and Savings Bank branch. Early morning mails will be despatched as usual. All other mails for despatch during the day will close at 9 a.m. No delivery will be made byletter carriers. Public offices will bo open for delivery of letters and sale of stamps on Friday next from 7 to 8 p.m., and on Saturday morning from 5.30 to 9.30. Telegraph Office : All Telegraph Offices will be open to the public from 5.30 to 9.30 a.m., and in addition offices which open on Sundays to re-open from 7 to 8 p.m. Gisborne and offices which open on holidays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. will open instead from 8.30 to 10 a.m., and in the evening from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. The Telephone Exchange will open as usual.
