By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, last night. The Addington Grand National market brought forward heavy yardings of fat stock and some very choico consignments. Fat sheep : 7000 were yarded, mostly good to extra prime wethers and ewes. Some butchers and buyers for Sydney competed keenly for prime heavy sorts. A good many were taken for export at 19s to 20s, and freezing buyers were also operating keenly. There was an upward market for all classes, except secondary ewes. Prime heavy wethers realised 22s to 603; freezers, iOs to 26s ; lighter, 14s 6d to 15s 9d. Prime merino wethers, 17s to 19s 6d ; good, 12s 6d to 16s ; others, 8s 4d to 11s 6(1. Fat lambs: 500 wore yarded, including some now season’s lambs, which sold from 14s to 20s. Last season’s realised 12s to 15s lid for good, and 9s 6d to 11s for others. Store Sheep : 2200 woro yarded, mostly hoggets, and there was a good sale only for wethers. Two-tooth ewes brought 14s Id ; a line was withdrawn at 16s. Hoggets brought 8s 9d io 10s ; 600 were passed at Ss 9d. Fat Cattle : 202 were yarded, including some splendid cattle. Buyors were in the market for export both to London and Sydney, and thero was a distinct rise. Prime beef brought 27s to 60s ; good, 22s Od to 26s ; others, 19s to 225. Show'bullocks brought T 24 ; prime heavy weights, PH to Tl 5 10s; good, T 8 10s to T 10; others, T 7 17s 6d to T 8 os. Prime heifers brought £3 10s to T 10; others, £5 to £B. Prime cows fetched T 8 to TlO 7s 6d • others, To 2s 6d to T 7. ’

Pigs : 371 were yarded. Baconers were slightly easier at 40s to 58s, or 4d per lb. Porkers were dearer, and sold at 25s to 35, or 4jd to 4.]d per lb. Good stores brought 16s to 22s ; smaller, 11s to 15s; suckers and weaners, 5s to 9s.
