STRANGE CIRCUMSTANCES

Wellington, last night. An inquest was held yesterday aftornoon on tho body of a married woman named Margaret Pattorson, aged 24 years. Tho woman had been in domestic scrvico for two years, passing as Margaret Burrow. Her mistress did not know sho was married. She complained of illness on Wednesday. A doctor was sent for on Friday morning, but tho woman died shortly afterwards. The medical ovidcnco showed that deceased succumbed to septic absorption and loss of blood following incomplete miscarriage. Tho doctors considered there would have been every prospect of doccascd living if they had been summoned carlior. There was no direct ovidcnco of criminal abortion.
