Tho road raco promoted by tho Dunlop Tyro Company for tho solootion of two ridors to represent tho colony in tho Warrynambool-Melbourno, road race, took placo yesterday, from Timaru to Christohurch, and resulted as follows A. Ralston 1 A. Caldor j J. Arnst ° Tho winnor's timo was 7 hours 15 minutes. '
