Heavy rain fell and delayed play for a whilo. At luncheon ono wickot had fallon for 92. Fane was missed when bis total stood at 83 by Jones, the same floldsman giving l’orrin a life boforo bo bad scored. An excellent partnership onsuod, Perrin having another escape at Hill's bands with 33 to his credit. The fielding otherwise was good. Perrin was caught at tho wickets finely by Kelly. Two for 136.
