SUDDEN DEATH IN AUCKLAND.
DECEASED SUPPOSED TO HAVE COME FiiOM GISBORNE.

Auckland, last night. The body of the man found dead in Nelson street has been identified as that of Alfred Donelly, a native of Roscommon, Ireland, who came to town from Gisborne a fortnight ago. He is said to he well connected at Home.
Later.—At the inquest on the body of Alfred Donelly the doctor was of opinion that death was caused by phoi-phorous poisoning, and a verdict was returned accordingly. There was no evidence to show the jury how the phosphorous had been administered.
