Agricultural Statistics.
(By Tolograph—Press Association.) Wellington, last night. Tho agricultural statistics for tho colony appear in to-night's Gazette. Tho estimates of yields of wheat, oats, and barloy wero as follow : —Wheat,’ 25 bushels per acre ; outs, 34 bushels ; barloy, 28 bushels Actual yields aro aB follow Wheat, 24-70 bushels per acre ; oats, iW'OOjbushols-, barley, 02-28 bushels. The area in wheat for threshing was 162,402 acres, yielding 4,040,589 bushels. The yields of other crops were:—Oats, 15,045,200 hut-hols; barley, 855,990 bushels ; rye, 27,250 bushels; maize, 571,804 bushels; peas, 104,712 bushels ; beans, 88,905 bupLoia ; rye-grass, 050,705 bushels ; cocksfoot, 4,481,341 poundo ; potatoes, 200,310 tons. The apparent delioit in whoat is 00,152 bushels, but this will bo incrocsod by tho lurgo amount of tho grain unfit for milling.
