LONDON WOOL SALES.
COMPETITION ANIMATED. Last evening Messrs Dalgety and Co. received tho following cablegram from London “ Wool sales opened to-day, with indifferent selection, and an average attendance of buyers. Competition was animated. The clips offered so far arc mostly coarso crossbrod wools. Washed wools are very firm. Any change in prices is in favor of sellers. Good bulky descriptions of scoured wools are rather lowor. The dates of our own sales are July 9th, 17th, and 28th.”
