A SANATORIUM.

The Government havo purchased a property five and a half miles from Cambridge, Waikato, formerly tho rcstdenco of a wealthy Englishman named Thornton, as a site for tiio North Island Consumption Sanatorium. Tho estato comprises about a thousand acres, chiefly bush, with a largo building, which can soon bo mado ready for patients. Tho cost to tbo Government is about £4OOO.
