NAPIER PARK HACKS. Ry Telegraph—Press Association. Napier, last night. The weather was beautifully line for tbe second day of the Napier Park Racing Club’s Winter meeting, and there was u large attendance. The course was in better order and the racing was much more interesting than on the opening day. The sum of .£-1770 was put through tiie totalisators, making a total of T 9127 for the two days. The dividends were all fairly large, not a single first favorite winning throughout tho day. Following are the results : Second Hack Hurdles. —Pearlshot 1, Ogle 2, Rocket !J. Also started: Yathck and North Star. Won by six lengths. Time, 3.G. Div., £i>. Park Steeplechase.—The Phantom 1, Scallywag 2, Groat Scott 15. Scratched : Cronjo and llufus. Won by three lengths. Time, 7,40. Jjivs., £4 Is and 17s. Winter Oats Handicap.—Daredevil 1, Inspan 2, Dexterity 3. All started. Won by a length. Time, 1.34. Divs., JEll 15s and £1 11s. Second Handicap Hurdles. —Missfire 1, Tirea 2, Rufus 3. Also started : Sabreur and Reliance. Won by two lengths. Time, 4.10. Div., Tl2 10s. Hunters' Handicap Hurdles. The Gryphon 1, Peter Osbeek 2, Garnet 3. Also started: Clovis and Nectar. Won by three lengths. Time, 3.44. Div., X : 3 3s. Farewell Steeplechase. Awahuri 1, Sir Athol and Lochado, dead heat, 2. Scratched : Scallywag. Won by two leDgths. Time, 5.3. Divs., dGll 9s; Sir Athol jGI 10s, Lochado 15s. Newstond Hack Handicap.—Andreo 1, Culeita 2, Aroha 3. Scratched : Shackle. Won by a length.
