UNIVERSITY DIPLOMAS.

[By Telegraph—Press Association.] Dunedin, last night.

The annual presentation of diplomas to graduates of the Now Zealand University took place this afternoon, Professor Sale presiding in tho absence of Sir James Hector. Diplomas were presented as follows: —M.A., 13 ; D.Sc., 1; 8.A., IS ; B.Sc., 1; L.L.8., 2 ; M.B. and Ch.M., 9. Addresses were given by Mr E. B. Cargill, Vice-Chaucellor of the Otago University, Professor Sale and others. The undergraduates were rather troublesome.
