THE PLAGUE.
A DEATH IN AUCKLAND. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, last night. A death occurred in the Isolation Hospital yesterday, and the case has been reported by the acting-District Health Officer, Dr Freangley, to the Department in Wellington as pneumonic plague. Tho patient was Edward Walker, alumper on the wharf, The ca3e has been undor observation since Wednesday last.
