PALMERSTON NORTH IMPROVEMENTS.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.] Palmerston North, last night. At the meeting of the Borough Council to-night it was decided to adopt a scheme of sewerage, estimate to cost £35.000. It is not proposed to spend the whole of this sum immediately, but the immediate works will probably necessitate the expenditure of £26,000. Subsequent ex. tensions will be made as required,
