THE AUCKLAND FICTION.
TAKEN SERIOUSLY. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, last night. Investigation of the story of the alleged outrages on girls tends to the conclusion that thoro was only one caso, and the police believe that is the result of hallucination. A roquost made by the Star for the writer of the acoount of the second alleged outrage to call has not been responded to, but some writing, said to be that of the victim of the first alleged outrage, has been compared with tho writing in the account of the second outrage, and it certainly bears a strong rosemblanoe.
