MEETING OF SHEEPFARMERS.
PROPOSED CO-OPERATION AT NAPIER.
By Telegraph—Press Association. Napier, last night. A largely-attended meeting of sheepfarmers was held here to-day, when a proposal to form a new freezing company on co-operative lines was discussed. Various speakers stated that the prices ruling in Hawke’s Bay were much lower than in Canterbury. A proposal was made that a new freezing company, with a capital of £50,000, be formed, but eventually a committee was appointed to obtain information, and report to a future meeting.
