GRAND CORONATION CONCERT.

This evening, at the Theatre Royal, a grand Coronation concert is to be held, and a perusal of the excellent programme to be found in another column should satisfy our readers as to the excellent nature of the entertainment. In addition to all our best local talent the services of Miss Large, of Napier, have been secured, and that fact alone should draw a bumper house. Miss Large’s numbers include Gounod’s “ A Prayer for the Kmg ” and “ Katey’s Letter,” two items in which she should be heard to great advantage. SoDgs will also be contributed by Misses Faubert and Telford, and Messrs J. East, F. Teat, and Barlow. A duet will be given by Misses Heaney and Golding, and a quartette by Mrs Chatterton, Miss GoldiDg, and Messrs Chatterton and Watene. The Maori students will render the hymn “ Kawari.” The programme altogether is a popular and appropriate one, and should be well received. The box plan is at Messrs Chrisp and Son’s.
