Originally 'the horses were valued at £35 each, but owing to the delay consequent on the breaking down of the steamer and termination of the war, the owner is unwilling to place them on a depreciated market. The shippers insist on fulfilling their contract to land the horses at Durban, and were proceeding to re-embark, when it was alleged, they were prevented by the owner of the horses, against whom an injunction was subsequently obtained restraining him from interfering with the re-embarkation. It is understood further proceedings are pending.
