Shelter Shed.

(To the Editor of the Times.)

gi r ,—Now that tne Harbor Board are about to make considerable extensions to the wharf, it would be an appropriate time to consider the erection of a suitable shelter-shed for the convenience of passengers and their friends. At present, passengers and their luggage are exposed to the inclemency of the weather, tho only shelter being on the lee side of the recently-placed railing. If only a structure closed in on the western side and .open toward tho river were erected, it would afford a veritable haven of refuge on a bleak, stormy day, and vyould bo welcomed as a great boon by the many travellers and their friends. A large number of people now pass through Gisborne on their way north and south, and their comfort should be considered by the Harbor authorities in this small matter.— I am, etc., Tourist.
