(Per Press Association). * WELLINGTON, iast night. At the annual meeting af the Wellington Licensing Committee all the applications for renewals and transfers .were granted. The Inspector of Police, in'his report stated that a number of licensed houses in the district are in such' a state from age and decay and lack of accommodation that the owners should arrange for their rebuilding as early as possible. The Inspector then names ten hotels wh ch are, _ he says, a source of danger in case of fire. He doubts if any precautions in the way of ' fire escapes will make them safe.
