Ashburton, last night. To-day tho Ashburton County Council voted for Coronation purposes tho following sums :—Five pounds to each of the forty-two schools in the county, one hundred pounds to tho Ashburton Coronation Celebrations Committee, and one hundred pounds for a permanent inemoriul, the place of which is to bo submitted to tho Council for approval. The total amount voted is £4lO.
