Passengers by tho Milan tramears have been mvited to purchase an additional penny ticket to aid tho sufferers at Martinique and St. Vincent. Six hundred pounds was thus raised in one evening. Melbourne, May 27. In the Senate Mr O’Connor stated that the Government were unable to grant or ask Parliament to grant assistance to the Martinique and St Vincent sufferers.
