Mr Seddon lias sent the following information to tho Acting-Premier from Germiston Colonel Davies reports, on 22nd May, 40 men were in tho hospital; 6364 Little, injured back ; 5117 M. Donald, enteric fever; 6007 Kennedy and 5530 Richards, influenza; 5033 Daiston, fractured thigh ; 5654 Free, inflamed gland ; 6365 Steward, injured knee; SOSO Sutton, hernia, 5700 Skilling, undergoing operation ; 5090 Mills and 6352 Jones are convalescent ; 5357 Wilson, abscess in tho thigh ; 5173 Lift, influenza; 0254 Webb, severe attack of influenza. Captain Cameron is convalescent; Captain Beiuehop, severe attack of influenza; Lieutenant Smith, slight injury. A later message sent by Mr Seddon from Elandsfontein states that all the patients are doing well. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) Wellington, last night.

The Governor has been advised from Capetown that the following New Zealanders were dangerously ill of enteric on May 24th : Geo. Atkins, of Waivoa South, and James Willett, of Invercargill, both at Elandsfontein ; Fred. C. Evans, of Dunedin, at Pretoria ; Sergeant P. Campbell, of Christchurch, at Newcastle. A cablegram received by tho ActingPremier states that Lieutenant Lascolles, of Napier, is now out of danger ; that Gourlay (Invercargill) and Burke (Dunedin) are in hospital at Elandsfontein doing well ; that Cunningham (Port Molyneux) has been discharged from hospital, and is coming down to Capetown.
