Charitable Aid.

By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, last night. At the Auckland Hospital and Chantable Aid Board meeting the chairman moved that all persons receiving charitable aid receive an extra allowance on Coronation Day, the same as on Christmas Day. The motion was unanimously carried. The chairman also moved for an extra allowance to inmates of tho Costly Home. He said he did not think it would be advisable to give them beer, but if the Board left the matter in his hands he might arrange something with the manager. This was agreed to.
